We are changing our logo.
In our intention to find a response to all of it that does not introduce polarization to more polarization, we have been asking myself – what can we do to support my planet and people – that is meaningful and true to my values?
And what better way than to commit to continually articulating your values – through words, visuals, actions, digital assets…
So, we are changing our logo.
To one that says our brand prioritizes heart and joy.
To one that says our brand can never de-prioritize immigration, gender recognition and safety, women’s rights, and social justice causes that prioritize inclusion.
To one that allows our collaborators and us to remember and share the joy, reason, and values of:
sustainability: where the inputs, outputs, and outcomes of our work must be mentally, emotionally, and economically sustainable for each of us in the collaboration.
availability: where our work allows us to be physically and emotionally available for the people we care for.
listening: where we learn to be better listeners first – of our gut, communities, and team.
community: where we remember to acknowledge that while a business may sustain itself on the traditional metrics of success, it cannot thrive without a caring community around it.
continuous learning: where learning – through different channels, platforms, conversations, and lived and learned experiences is the only way to ensure our work remains relevant with time.
roots: where our work does not view growth as a forward function but acknowledges the roots as we create incremental progress.
We are not removing, deleting, or scrubbing off the old logo from any existing resources already out. That’s part of our story – and will be acknowledged that way.
This is a story of “and”.
